3. Safety Performance: Tempered glass does not form sharp fragments when broken, significantly reducing the risk of injury, making it a model of safety glass. Although hollow glass also has certain wind pressure resistance, it cannot be compared to tempered glass in terms of safety.

Based on the aforementioned performance characteristics, hollow glass and tempered glass also differ in their application fields. Hollow glass, due to its excellent thermal insulation and soundproofing properties, is often used in doors, windows, and curtain walls of buildings to enhance the comfort of living or working environments. In contrast, tempered glass, due to its high strength and safety, is widely used in situations that need to withstand significant external impacts, such as the outer walls of high-rise buildings, glass walkways, and car windshields.
